The Face Behind the Blog.

Hi!

First of all I’d like to take the time to say thank you for reading my blog – or perhaps you might’ve just stumbled upon it and are just about to press the back button or retype the word ‘Google’ into Google like we all do; why don’t you stay for a minute or two?

So who am I, what’s this all about?

I am a seventeen-year-old student currently studying for my upcoming A-levels and I’ve recently become more interested in improving my personal fitness and general lifestyle. I’ve always been conscious of the way other people saw me and this, in turn, affected the way I see myself. And I know I’m not the only person to say that. However, despite my lack of self-confidence, I’ve never really done anything about it and I can safely say that I have never been able to say I visit the gym more than once a week (most of the time I can’t even say I go once!).

My aim is to change this. Not just so that I can be comfortable wearing trendy clothes to college without feeling like I’m too ‘big’ to wear them but also so that I can feel comfortable and content with myself at all times.

Of course, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to read about my journey and my journey only so I intend to blog as I learn. When I learn more about nutrition, I’ll blog. When I learn about pre and post workout supplements, I’ll blog. When I learn about correct forms for using the gym equipment, I’ll blog – you get the picture.

But doesn’t every fitness blog do this? You ask.

Maybe. But if there’s anyone else like me (and I’m sure there is) it’s much easier to learn through reading rather than asking a stranger and being left feeling a little foolish or embarrassed, even though you shouldn’t.

I hope that, whoever you are, you enjoy my future blog posts and they are helpful or at the very least make for an interesting read.

Until next time!
